Compassion of Guanyin, Walking Together with Good Intentions

On the 19th day of the 9th lunar month, which coincides with the auspicious day of Bodhisattva Guanyin’s ordination, #TszShanMonastery will hold the “Guanyin Birthday Open Day and Blood Donation Day (Note 1)” on October 24 and 25, 2026, with group visit reservations required (Note 2). We sincerely invite the public to visit the monastery to celebrate this festive occasion, cultivating wisdom and planting good roots in a joyful atmosphere, embarking on a healing journey to purify the mind.

This year’s Open Day integrates the “Ten Great Vows” of the perfected practice of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, setting up ten pilgrimage sites within the monastery to guide visitors to make vows with a compassionate heart and practice the path of benefiting others. May every visitor, amid an atmosphere of joy, embark on a healing journey of the mind, learning to make vows with compassion, stepping into the community, and practicing the spirit of benefiting others.

During the event, the monastery will simultaneously hold three “Guanyin Auspicious Dharma Assemblies” per day, offering pure offerings. We sincerely invite the public to participate joyfully, sharing in the Dharma’s bliss and peace. At the same time, we earnestly call upon the public to respond to the noble act of blood donation—nourishing life with life, nurturing a spirit of giving, and endowing this auspicious festival with deeper meaning!

The annual “Guanyin Birthday Open Day and Blood Donation Day” also operates under a group visit reservation system, exclusively for non-profit organizations, registered charitable organizations, and government-funded educational and welfare institutions in Hong Kong. (Registered groups must provide copies of valid registration or certification documents verifying their institutional identity to meet approval requirements.)
